This research project has its origins in my participartion as an associated researcher in the Estonian Research Council-funded project PUT683: 'Estonia, the Baltic states and the Collapse of the Soviet Union: New Perspectives on the End of the Cold War', 01.01.2015-31.12.2016. The main output this far is an extended article encompassing the whole history of 20th century Swedish-Baltic relations. Furthermore, I am currently involved in editing a special issue of Scandinavian Journal of History titled Baltic Crisis (together with Kaarel Piirimäe and Juhana Aunesluoma), likely to be published in 2019.
